ESL Summer Camp Teachers 7/18 – 8/30

CET International is looking for lead teachers for an international student culture and language summer camp. Must be knowledgeable about the Santa Clara/San Francisco geographical area and be able to teach the following topics:
• US culture and history
• US family life
• US traditions and etiquette
• US High school working style and expectations
• English as a Second Language

Candidates must:
• Be adaptable and able to help develop curriculum and projects based on students’ needs.
• Be aware and understanding of cultural differences.
• Have experience working with high school aged students.
• Be willing and able to accompany students on planned outings and activities.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• ESL certification preferred.

The summer camp will be held July 19-August 29 this year. We are looking for either one highly motivated individual who can attend 7 days a week for those 6 weeks, or two individuals who would be willing to alternate weeks. Sundays will be mellow, and you would be able to spend the majority of the day off, but would be on call 24-hours a day as the leader.

Teachers would be living on Santa Clara University’s campus in a private dorm room and will have meals paid for daily.
Compensation is $200/day.

Submit prior to April 27, 2015. Interviews will be conducted April 29-31 in the Santa Clara/San Francisco area, with the option to interview on Saturday or Sunday if needed due to scheduling.
